Introducing the Twin Tone Color Series.

One pearl pigment can reveal two distinct tones as the viewing angle, light and background change.

The new Twin Tone Color Series brings eight shifting shades into the EMS Color Series. Each shade has a paired color impression, giving formulators another way to build depth and movement into a finish.

These are pearlescent effect pigments, so the appearance is shaped by more than the pigment alone. Rotate a sample, change the lighting, or apply it over a different background and the balance between its two tones can change.

See the shift in your own material

For a useful comparison, view each candidate under more than one light source and over the backgrounds relevant to your product. The final effect depends on substrate, formulation, film thickness and application method.

Choosing a shade? Open the individual product galleries for a closer look, then tell EMS the material, process and effect you want to test. A sample in your own formulation is the best way to judge the finished appearance.
